Saving Money using Coupons with Minimal Effort

ADD CF AFFILIATE
I love the phrase work smart, not hard. So many people think couponing has to be hard, complicated, and that it takes a lot of time to save you  very little money. While there are certainly are shopping trips that are more involved and require more thought and knowledge of coupons, most are very simple. If you are looking to start saving with coupons but are not sure where to start, here are a few ways to make saving money really easy and take up very little of your precious time. These probably will not save you as much money as the hard core couponing veterans will save, but you will save some money. After all, don't we all want lower grocery bills?

1.  E-Coupons
E-Coupons are amazing for those people who prefer not to deal with the hassle of all those paper coupons. Stores like Kroger and Cellfire.com

2. Printable Coupons
Printable coupons don't require clipping or buying Sunday papers. you can go through a website like Swagbucks to make printing coupons profitable for you, or use one of the dozens of printable coupon websites.
Note: Almost all websites require you to download a 'coupon printer' program which prevents users from printing their coupons over and over again. I have never had a problem with them having Spyware or viruses. There might be some out there, but as of now I have never had an issue with it.

3. Just save coupons for things you buy regularly.
For the shoppers who prefer name brand products and will purchase them with or without a coupon, this is a great option. A great friend of mine uses this method, her children love Pop-Tarts, so she will buy them whether or not she has a coupon. Even though it may not be a crazy deal, it will still save money!
This is also a great option for the people who prefer the name brand items. I must admit that is what I love about couponing. When I get deals where my basic toiletry items are free, they are almost always name brand products. Although I have a good stockpile built up now, if I had to choose between buying the $3 bottle of Garnier shampoo and the $1 bottle of Suave, I would buy the Garnier with no hesitation. If you are particular about the brands you buy, you will save a great deal of money just by saving coupons for the items you know you will buy.

These are all very easy ways to add coupon savings to your regular shopping trips with a minimum time commitment. One you have added little money saving habits into your regular shopping routine, it is easy to continue to improve on that and add on the other components to couponing to maximize your savings and spend less at the grocery store.
